Remember, the denial of your petition did not come from the Judge. It came from a caseworker at your stateīs child support office. Same thing happened to me three years ago. I hired a lawyer, we went before the judge, and the judge agreed with us. I won my case.

These caseworkers are not your friend. They see all fathers as the bad guy. One thought: Do you have an old 401K sitting around with a couple thousand dollars in it you can cash out? Sure, youīll have to pay a tax penalty, but it may be worth it to get the money to hire a good lawyer just to get these people off your back. Thatīs what I did. I was unemployed, tried to get CS reduced, ended up having to take a much lower paying job. The CS agency kept hounding me. I finally cashed out one of my 401Kīs & hired the best pro-fatherīs rights lawyer I could. Took me about 6 months but I won my case.
