child support mod denied

I have been paying child support since 4/1/98 started at 750 mo 2 kids 2/1/99 oldest out of school dropped to 550 mo ex took me back for more1/01/02 child support raised to 853 mo 1 child I was current until the raise MY income does not allow me to afford this much all payments are taken out of my pay 2002 took 615 mo 2003 643mo 04 704mo 05 853 mo I cannot catch up they take max amount by law almost 50% net income after 3years I tried for a modifaction but was turned down because I was in arrears and my reason I dont make enough money and proved it was not a good enough reason The now are giving me 60 days to either pay up make payment arrangements or they will take my drivers liscense This makes a lot of sense to me I would lose my job and make no money my daughter turns 18 next month but she will go to school so I am still paying. my problem is I do not have any extra funds to hire an attorney The state of missouri says get an attorney we canot help you . any suggestions
