Sly...as I mentioned before - the main issue - the main conversation started - when Tanya said that when the child support check comes, she spends it on herself, as she considers it to be a "treat" for herself.

At no time did Tanya state that the NCP in HER case is behind on support. She stated that when the check comes she spends it on herself because, as she stated, she has to take care of her child because the child lives with her, so she deserves to be "paid back" for the fact that the child lives with her.

If the child were living with the ncp, I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that Tanya would not be so understanding if he insisted that the money she sent for her child was to be used for "treats" for the father, that the father can no longer afford for himself, now that he is a father.

But, Iīm forced to repeat myself. Custodial parents have a specific amount of financial support that THEY are responsible for providing for their child. THEY are not entitled to be "paid back" by the ncp for support the cp is ordered by the court to provide.

The support order is divided specifically on income basis, and the proportionate amount of the TOTAL SUPPORT ORDER is given to each of the parents. The ncp is responsible for the ncpīs part. The cp is responsible for the cpīs part.

There is no getting around this. READ YOUR COURT papers. I GUARANTEE that the amount you are ordered to provide for your childīs support does NOT say "$0".

Lastly, you stated that you "have a sperm donor who supports your sons needs." I thought you said he DIDNīT support your sons needs, and that this was your gripe in the first place. You make no sense, and your belittling of your sonīs "sperm donor" can do NOTHING but damage your sonīs little ego. I sure hope the stepfather is a better parent to him than you are.
