I´m the mother and non custodial parent of two kids my son is 8 and my daughter is 6. my ex lives in NC and is in the army about to get stationed in japan for three years. I´m in the army and station in texas trying to go to japan to be near my children. my kids lived with me and my new husband last year while my ex was in iraq and the year before with my ex while i was in iraq. my son wanted to stay with me but his father said no he had to try nc so he did. now he wants to come back and my 6 yr old wants to stay my ex will not even consider seperating the two and my son is miserable what should i do? also we divorced in nc and i now live in texas so it will be quite expensive if we go to court.
