I´ve read your situation, and I have to say YOUR NOT ALONE. I have been going through a similar nightmare for the past 7 years. Before I get into my story, which I will. I recommend your wife make an affidavit, go to a lawyer and get her to swear in front of the lawyer, that this is wrong and false and wants to end this immediately. The DA will try to intimidate her saying there going to charge her with false allegations (THEY WON´T). They would set them selves for you to sue, trust me. If they still won´t drop the charges tell her to stay at home the day of the trial date. Be very careful on having contact with your wife, the closer you get to the day of your court date. What the DA will do is get you arrested 2 or 3 weeks ahead of your court date keep you in jail until your court date and ask for a plea bargain. If that happens tell your lawyer not to except the plea that is another trick to cover their ass.
I hope this little bit of advice will help you. You will be the only one to know if your wife is being vindictive. If you are 100% sure she is not being vindictive, stay together, and take my advice. (Now for my nightmare)
My exgirlfriend and I never really had a good relationship. She used to mentally and physically abuse me. On July28.00 I was visiting one of her friends, when her dog bit me on the wrist it was such a bad bite I now have movement in wrist at all it is now fused. I finally had to sue, from the advise of my doctors. The owner of the dog made my life with my exgirlfriend unbearable, I finally had enough and on Nov.10.00 I explained to my girlfriend at the time that I can´t take it anymore and I think it´s best for us to go our separate ways and look after our daughter maturely even went to talk to her parents about my daughter. The next morning I got up for work and I had a service call (I am a fire alarm tech) at the local police station. Worked until 2:30pm when I got home there was no daughter and no girlfriend. The police met me. I was arrested for beating up my girlfriend and her two friends, three women all together. I was sent to jail for week not knowing what I apparently did. When I finally got bail my conditions were not to go anywhere near those girls (which was fine) but I could not go near my daughter. Also I was not allowed to go into my hometown, I could not go past the population signs. Which was extremely difficult as I was born and raised in the town. This being a small town it spread like wild fire. The girls were actually bragging that they made the story up. It was so made up that the girl who owned the dog phoned the police made up the story up, and had to go and wake up her roommate to tell the lie, and then phoned my girlfriend and tell her the story. I did not even the two girls who lived together since I was bit by the dog in July. As time past the girls were getting scared and started tormenting my child and me. They would call the police and say they saw in the town when they didn’t. I was annoying the police and the crown attorney because I went to the media. ((What you should do) When the girls kept calling the police, they would call on a Friday so I spent the weekend in jail and would have to get my attorney to get me out of jail (which would cost me $1000.00 every time) another tactic the Da uses use up your money. You see the girls said I did beating up incident at 6:30am, little did they know I was at the local police station working. When I went to the police station they did a CPIC on me to make sure I was all right to come and work. When the police do a CPIC on someone it has the date and time to the second of where I was. You think the police would give that information, to the DA but they never did. They with held that crucial piece of evidence. Even besides that the story they gave was pathetic not even a good lie. I just could not wait to got o court on NOV.10.01 to see these girls on the stand, and get caught in there lie. My girlfriend was getting scared, the closer it got to the date Nov.10 She asked me what she could do to make this right and to get back together, I made a affidavit and told her to go to a lawyer and get it signed, swear in front of him that you 3 made the entire story up because of the dog bite. The DA and the police dept. were extremely angry, 3 weeks before Nov.10.01 the police and came and got me threw in jail yet again, saying that was in my home town 4 months earlier (how do you defend yourself)The judge would not let me out until my court date. I spent the next 3 weeks depressed and confused. The day of my trial which was a 5 day trial, The DA plea bargained and all charges were dropped all 21 except, I pleaded guilty to being in my home town, when I wasn’t, but being in jail I was willing to do whatever I had to not to go back to jail (the DA knows this, and that is there tactic).
I sued the police station and the 3 girls. I had reporters involved before Nov.10 and that is why the DA was willing to do anything to get some kind of guilty plea. I eventually dropped the loss suites as one of the reporters dropped dead in front of the courthouse reporting my story.
I started to try to move on with my life, being a father, but just recently my ex broke into my house and was beating yet again, because of money, she ended up breaking her wrist, on my head. She stole my laptop in the process. She immediately went home and called her mommy saying I beat her and her mom called the police, again listening to her daughter. I realize blood is thicker than water but her parents know what her and her friends did to me before and she knows that her daughter is a compulsive liar. When the police went to the hospital, she told the police that she did not want me charged because she was hitting me in the head and that is probably what happened to her wrist. Different from what she told her mom. Never the less the police officer charged because I have a penis between my legs, word for word from the police officer. The police officer was on my side she asked me to do two impact statements one for all the years of abuse and one for this latest incident. The police finally charged her with break and enter. My court date is on Jan.16.06, my lawyer and I hoping that the DA will drop these charges. My guess is they won’t. When I was going through all the first stuff I was calling the attorney general on him and the Upper Canada law society, they don’t really like me after that. I don’t care this is my life and my Childs life I’m fighting for!!
